So what better way to strike back at the aforementioned looneys than issue a threat to pop a saltwater croc in Canberra's Lake Burley Griffin? Fight fire with fire, as they say. As Macdonald continues, "It's only a matter of time before someone dies in the jaws of one of these prehistoric reptiles. If nothing else, putting a croc into Lake Burley Griffin or the Brisbane River might be the only way to highlight the problem to those blinkered politicians who seem to believe that crocs are more important than humans." Come on, senator, actions speak louder than words.
